Max LaMee is one of the most popular members of the MSU Rodeo team and this weekend while participating in a Memorial Day Weekend Rodeo in Gladwin, Michigan was seriously injured. LaMee is currently hospitalized and with his family.

LaMee started his MSU career as a bull rider, but had shifted this season to saddle bronc riding. It was while bronc riding that LaMee was injured.

MSU Faculty representative for the Rodeo Team Dr. Brian Nielsen and Spartan Nation Publisher/Editor Hondo S. Carpenter, Sr. will be going to see LaMee and his family and updates will come as appropriate and available. LaMee is no stranger to Spartan Nation having been on Spartan Nation Radio multiple times.

Although Rodeo is not as popular as football and basketball, an injury to any Spartan is an injury to all. Please keep LaMee in your prayers. Well wishes can be directed his way via the MSU Team Rodeo Facebook page that you can access here:  CLICK RIGHT HERE!
