Earlier this week an emotional William Gholston informed MSU Head Football Coach Mark Dantonio that he was entering the 2013 NFL draft.  Spartan Nation was made aware of that meeting from multiple sources with direct knowledge.

Spartan Nation has reached out to Dantonio for comment, but he has chosen not to comment publicly at this time on Gholston or the departures of RB LeVeon Bell or TE Dion Sims who are all entering the NFL draft early.  Spartan Nation has said for several weeks that both Bell and Sims were going to leave.

Spartan Nation was at the epicenter of the Gholston commitment to MSU when he was in high school and as we break the news of his departure we wish him well.  Gholston is a great young man, as are Sims and Bell.
