Michigan State Football is losing one of the finest young men to ever wear the Green and White.  After graduating, fifth year senior John Deyo is transferring to WMU to play for Bill Cubit and the Broncos.  After being informed of this move on July 12th we had a chance to catch up with Deyo over the weekend and he had some great things to say.

“I love Coach D (Mark Dantonio) and being a Spartan, but I am also excited to play.”  According to sources within WMU football the expectations are very high.  “He will come in and compete immediately.  I expect him to earn that starting spot.  He’s a very good player.”  Deyo went on to tell Spartan Nation over the weekend that, “I have a great degree from a great University.  Now I get to pursue my masters from another great University.”

Deyo has proclaimed that it is time to, “Saddle up,” a reference to WMU being the BRONCOS.  There have been many super people to play for MSU, none better than Deyo who is loved by his teammates and the staff.  Good luck John!
