Aliso Viejo, CA

Kirk Cousins had another good day at the Elite 11
Camp at Soka University in Aliso Viejo, CA.  He
had a good day throwing the ball, instructing the
Elite 11 (actually 12) high school quarterbacks, and
also working with young Boys and Girls from the local
Boys & Girls Club.   After lunch Kirk was on his way
to Disneyland.  “I had such a great time at Disneyworld
in Florida, I am looking forward to seeing where Disney
got started out here in California.”

Last night Cousins spent time reviewing Michigan State
game film with former Spartan QB and Elite 11 Coach
Bret Johnson.  When asked about the upcoming season,
Kirk said “we have high expectations”.

On who he thought might replace Blair White as his ‘go to guy’, he said “we
have a lot of weapons.  I hope Mark Dell in his senior
year can step up and have a big year.  BJ (Cunningham), Keith Nichol,
Keyshawn Martin, and Bennie Fowler can all make plays
and add in the three tight ends and RB’s and we do have
weapons.  Last night with Bret he pointed out some things
that our receivers need to do to run smoother routes and
that is one of the things I will take back from this
camp.”

The final wrap up session of the Elite 11 camp remains
in the morning and then Kirk Cousins will be on his way back to East Lansing.
